Adobe Reader Japanese Language Pack is a free add-on from Adobe Systems Incorporated that localizes Adobe Reader (Acrobat Reader) for Japanese users. It provides a fully translated user interface—including menus, dialogs, tooltips, and messages—and installs the resources needed to correctly display, copy, and search Japanese text in PDF documents, even when the required fonts are not embedded.
Designed for both individual users and multilingual organizations, the language pack lets you switch the Reader interface to Japanese or automatically match your system language, without reinstalling the main application. It does not alter core Reader functionality; it simply adds Japanese localization and text-rendering support.
The Adobe Reader Japanese Language Pack is compatible with the corresponding version of Adobe Reader on Windows and macOS. After installation, restart Adobe Reader and select Japanese in Preferences > Language (if it’s not selected automatically).
Adobe Reader Japanese Language Pack is developed by Adobe Systems Incorporated. The most popular version of this product among our users is 9.1.
